The Republican Anti-Epizootic Squad (RAES) is a state organization under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its main activities include preventive, diagnostic, and anti-epizootic measures to prevent and eliminate especially dangerous animal diseases across the country. The Squad responds promptly to outbreaks, conducts monitoring, disinfection, vaccination, and laboratory research. The organization was established in 2003 to provide rapid protection of livestock and ensure biological safety in Kazakhstan.
